Respect The Music is a 501c3 non-profit foundation. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Respect The Music is dedicated to bringing the excitement and passion of music and musical education to students at all levels, as well as adults. From school classes to extra-curricular programs, we help teachers teach and we help music lovers gain a greater understanding of music, how it’s made, how it’s performed, how to get more out of every musical moment, from the sounds, the skills, the psychological impacts and the health benefits and dangers inherent in sonic environments we live in. We also include the world of fine art as it relates to music. The same passion exists in the creation and enjoyment of music related art – from album covers to event posters to concert T-shirts. A more highly trained mind is a healthier mind and will drive our culture to greater awareness, performance and happiness. Just a few of the areas Respect The Music we focus on are:

  • Lesson Plans for Teachers
  • Instrument and Gear Donations
  • Artist Presentations
  • Sponsoring School Programs
  • Educational Round Table Events
  • Analysis of Music Related Art
  • Art by Musicians
  • Music by Artists (and Actors)
  • Stage Sets and Light Shows
  • The Impact of Album Art
  • The Art of Music T-shirt Graphics

Respect The Music is made up of passionate musicians, artists, engineers, scientists, doctors, authors and business people, all of whom share a common belief and goal: that the world needs to foster great exposure to, understanding and support of music for people of all ages and cultures. Through creative classes and lesson plans, provided at no cost, to schools and music programs for children and adults, we can augment what is currently being taught and ensure that greater understanding and appreciation for music thrives. Our efforts, supported by individuals and corporate donors, along with the efforts of artists and others, provide exciting and inspiring opportunities and events that reshape and energize all who come in contact with Respect The Music.
